Marjorie E. Devine

Marjorie E. Devine, 92, of Fond du Lac, died on May 22, 2024, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born on February 3, 1932, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Thomas and Frances (Pucker) Lloyd. Marjorie graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, with a bachelor’s degree in physical education. On April 18, 1959, she married Dr. Joseph Devine at St. Mary’s Church in Fond du Lac. Marjorie was a member of Holy Family Parish. She loved to spend time up north in Minocqua at the cottage with her family. Marjorie liked to watch the Badgers, Packers, and Brewers, but especially her children and grandchildren participating in their sporting events. Her greatest love was for her family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved helping her family in any endeavor they were in.

She is survived by four children, Therese (Pete Nemeth) Devine, Cecilia (Guy) Prickett, Margaret (Robert) Drehmel, and Joe Devine; five grandchildren, Angela (Lonel) Le Blanc, William Prickett, Rachael (Joseph) Wolf, Robert (Haley) Drehmel, and John Drehmel; seven great grandchildren, Candace Prickett, Haley, Emma, Keith, and Thomas Le Blanc, Veronica Wolf, and Autumn Drehmel; three great great grandchildren, Scarlett, Mila, and Xaiver; brother, Donald Lloyd; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dr. Joseph; brother, Thomas (Jeanette) Lloyd; and sister-in-law, Mary Lloyd.

The visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Sacred Heart Church, Fond du Lac. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 12:00 PM. Entombment will follow at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Marjorie’s name to the Liberty House in Fond du Lac.
