Mark A. Nelson

Mark A. Nelson, 62, of Rhinelander, WI, died Friday, March 3, 2023, at Marshfield Medical Center, Beaver Dam. He was born on April 9, 1960, in Racine, WI, the son of Thomas and Alexandria (Boalbey) Nelson. Mark graduated from Case High School in Racine, WI. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. Mark earned an associate degree from Nicolet College and owned Central Direct for 10 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, birds, fishing, and being a conservationist.

He is survived by his father, Thomas (Joyce) Nelson; sister, Marcia (John) Hill; step sister, Dawne Kurek; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alexandria.

By the family’s request, no services are planned. Cremation has taken place.
