Mark A. Mumm, 75, died Saturday, August 29, 2026, at his home in Fond du Lac. He was born in Fond du Lac on February 3rd, 1951, to John and Betty (Schramm) Mumm. Mark was a 1969 graduate of Goodrich High School. On November 7, 1970, he married Karen Tompsett at Holy Cross Church in Mt. Calvary

Mark lived in Fond du Lac his entire life and worked as a machinist and pipe fitter for 40 years. He spoke often of his time as a machinist at Giddings and Lewis along with working on locomotives on the Soo Line Railroad. Mark was an outdoorsman highlighted by trapping. He devoted many years to learning the craft and enjoyed sharing his experience with others. He was also dedicated to the Wisconsin Trappers Education Program. He also enjoyed trips to Las Vegas with Karen and other family members.

Survivors include his two sons, Marcus Mumm (Nicki Rust), and Malcolm Mumm; two grandsons, Eli Mumm, Cole Mumm; and brothers Paul (Heidi), Greg (Mary), Brian (Jan) sister Anne, sister-in-law Gail (Tony) Anderson along with many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Brittany Huck and family for their care and support. He was preceded in death by his wife Karen and his parents.

Private family services will be held. Cremation has taken place.
