Martin F. Baerenwald

Martin F. Baerenwald, 94, formerly of 379 N. Peters Ave. in Fond du Lac and currently a resident of All About Life Rehabilitation Center died Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at the nursing home. Martin was born November 10, 1909 in Shawano Co., a son of Otto and Mary Weikel Baerenwald. On August 23, 1980 he married Evelyn Gerhartz at Sacred Heart Church in Fond du Lac. Martin worked as a sales clerk at True Value Hardware store in Appleton for 24 years, retiring in 1988. He was a member of Holy Family Parish in Fond du Lac and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling throughout the USA.Survivors include his wife Evelyn of Fond du Lac, one son; Robert (Kathy) Baerenwald of Lake Geneva, three step-sons; Francis Bartoli of Tucson, AZ, Richard (Sarah) Bartoli of Mayville, Dennis (Geraldine) Bartoli of Campbellsport, two step-daughters; Katherine (Arthur) Tomlinson , Charmaine (Raymond) Hernandez of Fond du Lac, one granddaughter; Sara Baerenwald, 18 step-grandchildren, 24 step-great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. His parents preceded him in death.



Visitation for Mr. Baerenwald will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2004 from 4-7 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2004 at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home with the Rev. John Radetski officiating. Entombment will take place Friday morning at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum. The staff if Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
