Marvin B. Rieder

Marvin B. Rieder, 94, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at The Meadows of Fond du Lac. He was born August 10, 1931 in Malone, the son of Raymond and Isabella (Bleuel) Rieder. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1951 – 1955. Marvin married Marie A. Welch on July 6, 1957 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Stockbridge. He worked for Tecumseh Products until his retirement in 1996. Marvin enjoyed camping, woodworking, traveling, and bird watching.

He is survived by his wife, Marie; four sons, Terry (Viki) Rieder, Randall (Dawn) Rieder, James (Michele Englebert) Rieder, and Dennis (Diane) Rieder; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; siblings, Adeline Austin, David (Carol) Rieder, and John (Deb) Rieder; sisters-in-law, Pat Rieder and Dorothy Rieder; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Mary Rieder, Connie (Elroy) Huebschman, Orville (Sally) Rieder, Paul Rieder, and Lester Rieder; and brother-in-law, Jon Austin.

At Marvin’s request cremation has taken place and burial will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
