Michael R. Detert

Michael R. Detert, age 50, of W4249 Golf Course Dr, Fond du Lac, died unexpectedly from a heart attack Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on January 1, 1956 in Fond du Lac the son of Robert W. and Margaret C. (Lumblo) Detert. Mike worked for the City of Fond du Lac Parks Department since 1980. He had been in pool leagues. He loved the outdoors. Most of all Mike loved his son and enjoyed spending as much time as he could with him including, fishing, hunting, and bike riding. SURVIVORS: his son, Ryan, aunts and uncles, Tom (Pat) Lumblo of Fond du Lac, Carolyn (Jim) Daley of Milwaukee, Hiroko Lumblo of Virginia, special friend, Lynda Peachy of Fond du Lac, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Susan Willett.
