Molly A. Pickart

Molly A. Pickart, age 75, of Fond du Lac, died on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at her residence. She was born on February 10, 1948, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Joseph F. and Primrose C. (Dowland) Schindelholz. She was a 1966 graduate of Goodrich High School. Molly met her future husband, Ernest J. Pickart, in the spring of 1977 at Hollywood Resort. They married on August 10, 1984. He preceded her in death on July 1, 2018. 

Molly worked for the Fond du Lac School District for 49 years, starting as a librarian at Sabish Middle School. She then went on to work as a guidance secretary at Goodrich and Fond du Lac High School. Molly loved absolutely anything Disney. She enjoyed going to the casino with her family and friends, tending to her bird feeders, and really loved spoiling her cats, Pixie and Dude. Most of all Molly loved spending time with her children.

Survivors include two children, Maggie (Jake) Mueller and Tom (Becca) Pickart; her siblings, Joseph (Connie) Schindelholz, Tom (Gail) Schindelholz, Martin Schindelholz, Martha Schneider; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Carol (David) Hochrein, Rosemary Lisowski, Mary Ann (Norman) Buckmaster, and Audrey (Dan) Ugent; her many grand fur-babies; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brother-in-law, Randy Schneider; her mother-in-law, Marcella Thome; her father-in-law, Alois “Dickie” Thome.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 9:00 AM until 12 noon at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 12 noon. Cremation has taken place.
