Mrs. Olive A. StephanyOlive A. Stephany, 82, formerly of 301 Weis Avenue, died Monday, October 11, 2004, at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home where she had been a resident for the past 5 years. She was born December 15, 1921, in Van Dyne, the daughter of John and Rose Drier Kind. On June 16, 1945, she married Edwin Stephany at St. Mary's Church in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on January 3, 1993. Mrs. Stephany was a member of Holy Family parish-St. Mary's Church. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren. She is survived by three sons, James (Kathryn "K.T.") Stephany, Dennis (Jayne) Stephany, and Ronald Stephany, all of Fond du Lac, a daughter, Kathleen (Todd) Livieri, of Van Dyne, eight grandchildren, Scott (Tammy) Stephany of Fond du Lac, Shawn Stephany of Appleton, Kate Stephany of Minneapolis, Emily Stephany of San Diego, Lisa Stephany and Michael Stephany, both of Fond du Lac, Corey and Christopher Livieri, both of Van Dyne, a great-grand-daughter, Alyssa Marie Stephany of Fond du Lac, a daughter-in-law, Donna Stephany of Fond du Lac, a sister, Annabelle (Frank) Miller of Fond du Lac, two brothers, John (Ruth) Kind of Rosendale and Harold (Delores) Kind of Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Her parents, husband, one son, Edwin Jr., an infant sister, Beatrice, and an infant brother, Dwight preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Olive Stephany will be on Thursday, October 14. 2004, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A parish vigil will be held at 6 pm on Thursday evening at the funeral home. Funeral services will be on Friday, October 15, 2004, at 10:30 am from Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Church. The Rev. Victor Capriolo of Holy Family parish will officiate and entombment will be in the Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum in Calvary Cemetery.
