Olvina A. (Halfaday) Santigo

Olvina A. (Halfaday) Santigo, 75, of Fond du Lac, passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. She was born February 17, 1950, the daughter of Joseph and Delia (Weesh-Koob) Halfaday.

Olvina worked for ADVOCAP/Headstart for many years. She started out as a janitor and worked her way through school and became a teacher’s assistant. She enjoyed teaching and watching the children learn and grow. She enjoyed shooting pool, darts, reading, bingo, cooking and baking, dancing, crocheting and knitting, and going out to eat. Olvina was very creative and enjoyed Halloween and Christmas.

She is survived by her children, April Santigo and Larry Santigo, Jr.; her granddaughter, Mercedes Santigo; siblings and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry Santigo Sr.; and siblings.

A visitation will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place.
