Orville N. Olig

Orville N. OligOrville N. Olig, 84, formerly a resident of Johnsburg and currently a resident of ManorCare Nursing Home died Friday, September 17, 2004 at the home. Orville was born September 4, 1920 in Fond du Lac, a son of Clem and Helen Schmitz Olig. Orville farmed with his parents all of his life in Johnsburg. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Parish and the Holy Name Society. After his retirement, Orville moved into the Coach House in Johnsburg, where he was a resident for many years.Survivors include three sisters; Mary Agnes Haensgen of Fond du Lac, Frances (Clarence) Haensgen of Fond du Lac, Helen Koenigs of North Fond du Lac, two sister-in-laws; Anna May Olig of Fond du Lac and Rosemary Olig of Fond du Lac, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister; Julianne Olig, and two brother-in-laws; Leander and Conrad Haengsen.



Visitation for Mr. Olig will be held on Monday, September 20, 2004 from 4-7 P.M. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Johnsburg. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 20, 2004 at 7:00 P.M. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Johnsburg with the Rev. Joseph Coerber officiating. Entombment will follow on Tuesday at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum.The staff of Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
