Patricia A. Menas

Patricia A. Menas, 84, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born July 7, 1937 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Rick and Marge (Hall) Rickmeyer. On September 3, 1970 she married Anton Menas at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Fond du Lac and he preceded her in death on March 20, 1997.



Patricia and her husband owned and operated Mid States Harness and Breeders in West Bend, Forest Auto Sales in St. Cloud, and worked several years at Rickmeyer Furnishings in Fond du Lac. She was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and was past president of Ladies Philoptochos Society. She enjoyed traveling and gambling across the country with her family. When her health failed her daughter donated a kidney to her and the last 24 years her daughter and son took care of her.



She is survived by her children, Kelly Steinmetz of Neenah and Michael Menas of Fond du Lac; grandchildren, Amber (Marcus) Riley, Nicole Steinmetz, and Toni (David) Shell; great grandchildren; her brother, Jim (Barb) Rickmeyer and a sister; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Anton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Deno (Arlene) Menas, Diana (Ernie) James, Stella (Ernie) Tiboris, Peggy (Peter) Ladas, Marian (Jim) Frankos, Emily (Don) Wensauer, and George Menas.



The visitation will be held Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 10:00 – 11:30 AM at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church with Trisagion Prayers at 11:15 AM. The funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM at church. Burial will follow in Rienzi Cemetery.



In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Patricia’s name.
