Patricia Jean Mayer

Patricia Jean Mayer, age 66, passed away after a valiant battle with colon cancer on Monday, April 6,2026, at Aspirus Stevens Point. She was born on April 6, 1960, in Milwaukee, the only child of Peter and Francis (Marquez) Mayer. Patricia grew up in Milwaukee and around age 8 the family moved to Fond du Lac. She married James Gallitz and they had 5 children. She later relocated to Stevens Point, remarried and had 4 children.

Patricia is survived by her children, Samual Koch, Daniel Koch, Michael Koch, Elizabeth Koch, Jean Gallitz, Christine Gallitz, Lisa Gallitz, Jennifer Gallitz and Amy (Silver) Youngs, one grandchild, Bianca Coon Koch; along with cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will take place on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 11:30 AM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:30 AM. Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Woodhull where Patricia will be back in the loving arms of her parents.
