Robert C. "Bob" Burmeister

Robert C. “Bob” Burmeister, age 74, of Fond du Lac, died on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton. He was born on May 3, 1951, in Stevens Point, WI, the son of Bruno and Ann (Johnson) Burmeister. On June 5, 1971, he married Constance “Connie” Wachowiak at St. Stevens Catholic Church in Stevens Point. Bob started working as a produce manager in 1969 at Copps Corporation in Stevens Point and then at Copps in Fond du Lac and then at Pick ‘n Save when Copps closed until his retirement in 2013. Bob also worked at Bob’s Harley Davidson and loved his time there. Everywhere Bob went he knew so many people from working those jobs. Bob was a proud family man and loved spending time with his family especially traveling to Kauai. He also loved spending time with his two dogs that he referred to as “his girls”.

Survivors include his wife, Connie; his children, Robert (fiancé Amy Bonnett) Burmeister and Tamara (fiancé Bobby Reed) Burmeister; six grandchildren, Alyssa, Emma, Jordan, Austin, Joshua, and Alisha; three great-grandchildren, Jackson, Lucas, and Cooper; his sister, Joann Klein; his brothers; William, Jim, and George (Kathy) Burmeister; his mother-in-law, Lorraine Wachowiak; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kenneth (Rob) Wachowiak, Linda (Tom) Pozorski, and Chris Wachowiak; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jack; his sister, Ann Marie; his father-in-law, John Wachowiak.

A Celebration of Bob’s life will take place at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
