Ronald A. Ott, 70, of W 9396 Forest Ave. Rd. in the Town of Lamartine died surrounded by his family after a lengthy battle with cancer on Friday, July 16, 2004 at his residence. Ronald was born November 19, 1933 in Kenosha, a son of Harry and Myrtle Wittchow Ott. On December 20, 1967 he married Sandy Fraley in Rockford, IL. Ronald was a graduate of Brandon High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1955-1957. He worked for Condon Oil as a service technician and also enjoyed his hobby farm. He loved baseball, working with his horses, growing his flowers and gardening.Survivors include his wife; Sandy of Rosendale, three sons; Rusty (fiancée Samantha Clark) Ott of Lamartine, Ronald Ott of Rosendale, Robb (Amy) Ott of Fond du Lac, two grandchildren; Cole and Megan Ott, two sisters; Joyce Kochanik of Florida, Judy (Bill) Coldren of Florida, and one brother; Gerry (Ruth) Ott of Rosendale. He was preceded in death by his parents, one half-brother, his step-father, and many aunts and uncles.



Visitation for Mr. Ott will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2004 from 10-11 A.M. at St. Stephen's Church in Rogersville. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at the church with the Rev. Kimberly Strowel officiating. Cremation has taken place.Memorials in Ronald's name may be directed to St. Stephen's Church or Hospice Hope.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
