Ronald L Rowe, age 77, of Fond du Lac, died Monday April 20, 2026, at St. Agnes Hospital after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born on July 3, 1948, in Fond du Lac, the son of Bernice (Walgenbach) Rowe. Ron graduated from L.P. Goodrich High School in 1966 and received his Associates degree from Moraine Park Technical College. Ron served in the United States Army, 1st Battalion 22nd Infantry- Regulars, by God. He was very proud of his time on active duty in tours in Vietnam. On May 1, 1976, Ron married Tara Timmons in Fond du Lac. She preceded him in death on October 7, 2016. He managed Firestone Automotive for 25 years, retiring from the company. Ron was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Parish, where he was a former board member and served on various committees as well as being a very active leader in the LifeTeen program. He was involved with Loaves and Fishes and was a member of American Legion Post 454 in Mt. Calvary. He was able to go on the Old Glory Honor Flight in 2024. Ron enjoyed bowling and golfing, but his favorite thing was going UpNorth with his family for vacation every summer.
Survivors include his two daughters, Jennifer (John) Fain and Amanda (Matthew) Beihoff; six grandchildren, Audrey, Colin, Elsa, Isabelle, Josh, and TJ; one sister, Rosie Braun; nephews and nieces, Todd (Ginny) Braun, Sherri (Dan) Walker, Tommy (Julie) Hilbert, and Jason Hilbert; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother; his wife; and one sister, Mona Luttenberger.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 12 noon at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, W1562 County Road B, Eden, WI, 53019. A funeral service will follow the visitation at the church at 12 noon. Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
