Rose Mary Zehren

Rose Mary Zehren, 89, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born on May 7, 1937, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of William and Helen (Lettau) Engel. On September 21, 1957, she married Cornelius Zehren in Fond du Lac. Cornelius preceded her in death on September 27, 1998. She was a member of Holy Family Parish.

Rose loved shopping and eating out with her friends and family, playing cards with her granddaughter Miranda, and most importantly, spending time with her family. Her grandson Nick carried on the tradition of getting her flowers every Valentine’s Day because that is what grandpa did. She also enjoyed getting wonderful drawings from Charlotte, her great-granddaughter. She also enjoyed working in her yard (pinecones were her enemy), doing any word search books she could get her hands on, and was very excited for the upcoming arrival of baby Keys.

She is survived by a daughter, Sandra (Pat) Keys; granddaughter, Miranda (Wayne) DeWitt; three grandsons, Nick (Brittany) Keys, Kyle Zehren, and Alex Zehren; great-granddaughter, Charlotte DeWitt and one on the way, Baby Keys; special niece, Sandra (Jack) Pederson; and good friends, Dorothy and Evelyn. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Helen; husband, Cornelius; two brothers; and four sisters.

Private family services will occur. Entombment will occur in Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
