Rosemary K. Whealon

Rosemary K. Whealon, 91, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, September 1, 2011 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. She was born on February 29, 1920 in Rockford, Illinois the daughter of Vincent and Kathleen Higgins Whealon. Rosemary worked for the U.S. Army in the Photo Division in Japan for 7 years. She was employed by Taycheedah Correctional Institute as a prison guard receiving the rank of Lieutenant. She was an avid reader and loved dogs.SURVIVORS: Rosemary is survived by two sister-in-laws; Karin Whealon, Fond du Lac and Mary Ann Whealon, Eau Claire. She is further survived by nieces and nephews; David (Donna) Whealon, Fond du Lac, Beth (Bill) Wyman, Oshkosh, Kathy (Bob) Jungerberg, Victoria, MN, Mike, Dan, Bill Whealon. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Harriet, three brothers Henry "Bub", James and Pat Whealon.
