Roy Kenneth Johnson, age 72, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Froedtert Hospital. He was born on June 29, 1949, in Muskegon, MI, the son of Raymond and Marie (Sonnega) Johnson. On August 12, 1972, Roy married Wendy Dean in Muskegon, MI. Roy was a math professor at Marian University for thirty years. He was an active member of First Presbyterian Church where he formally was an Elder and currently a Deacon. He enjoyed traveling and volunteering at The Salvation Army.
Survivors include his wife, Wendy; two children, Roy Kenneth Johnson II, and Dean (Jessie Stodola) Johnson; two grandchildren, Abby and Emily; his siblings, Louis (Gilda) Johnson, Helen Johnson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Linda Roberts, Kevin (Anne) Dean, Greg (Trish) Dean, Tim (Mary) Dean; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, from 12:30 PM until 2:30 PM at First Presbyterian Church, 1225 4th St, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A funeral service will follow the visitation at church at 2:30 PM. Burial will take place on Friday, April 29, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Spring Lake Cemetery, 17181 N. Fruitport Rd, Spring Lake, MI, 49456.
