Shane A. Wincapaw

Shane "Wink" A. Wincapaw, 41, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, July 20, 2012 as a result of an automobile accident. He was born February 12, 1971 in Rockford, IL, the son of Terry and Roxann Schindler Wincapaw. Shane enjoyed fishing, swimming, music, softball, was a die hard Packer fan, and especially loved spending time with his family.SURVIVORS: his father, Terry (Lori) Wincapaw, Rockford, IL; his mother, Roxann Barney, Westfield, WI; two daughters, Alicia (Andrew Kidrick) Wincapaw, Fond du Lac and Coral Leigh Ann Wincapaw, Fond du Lac; his paternal grandmother, Margaret Wincapaw, Westville, OK; his special friend, Jean Sprotte and her son, Wesley, Fond du Lac. He is further survived by two brothers, Christopher (Stacey) Barney, Fond du Lac and Terry Wincapaw, LaSalle-Peru, IL; one sister, Tara (Jason) Teves, Rockford, IL; two step-brothers, Ricky (Mary) Barney, Parkway, TN and Gary Barney, Rochelle, IL; one step-sister, Barb (Mike) Weber, Arkdale, WI; his dogs, Boris, Athena, and Jackson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lloyd Wincapaw; his maternal grandparents, William and Reola Schindler; his step-father, Darwin Barney.



VISITATION: will be from 2 "“ 4 PM on Monday, July 23, 2012 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 4 PM on Monday, July 23, 2012 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald Schrankler officiating. Cremation will follow the traditional services.In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Shane's name.
