Shirley A. Fitzpatrick

August 15, 1938 — September 2, 2022

Shirley Ann Fitzpatrick, 84, of Lamartine, died Friday, September 2, 2022, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born August 15, 1938, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Ervin and Hilda (Franke) Miller. On July 18, 1959, she married John H. Fitzpatrick at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fond du Lac. Shirley worked as an administrative assistant at Mercury Marine, in the kitchen at the Fond du Lac County Jail and the Memory Care Unit at Rolling Meadows Nursing Home.

She enjoyed cooking, especially her signature dishes: macaroni and cheese, pickle bread, ribs, sauerkraut, and mashed potatoes. She also enjoyed gardening, bird watching, camping, the Green Bay Packers, gambling, and most of all, spending time with her family.

She is survived by her three children; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her in-laws.

Private graveside services will be held at Avoca Cemetery in Oakfield.

The family extends a special thank you to all those who cared for Shirley, you all made an impact on her life, and we hope she made an impact on yours. She was a fun, loving and caring person, always looking out for people. Shirley’s outgoing and witty personality allowed her to make many friendships she held dear to her heart.
