Susan Carole Titel

Susan Carole Titel (nee Mengel), of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2026, in her hometown at the age of 78. Born on December 17, 1947, in Fond du Lac, Susan remained closely connected to the community throughout her life. Her enduring love for family and steadfast devotion to those around her were hallmarks of her character and left a meaningful impact on all who knew her.

Susan was a devoted mother and grandmother whose greatest joy came from time spent with her family. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Kellie (Cory) Toth and Nicole (Ray) Bogust; grandchildren, Nathaniel (Tanya) Krenn, Hayden (Haven) Mostek, Cole Mostek, and Madison Toth; and great-grandson, Tiger Krenn. She also leaves behind her sister and best friend, Jo (David) Stanley, along with lifelong friend Thomas Beaster and other cherished friends and family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolf Mengel and Patsy Mengel; her brothers, Jeff and Jim Mengel; her sister, Karen Mengel; one nephew, Jesse King.

Susan’s legacy is one of warmth, strength, and compassion. Her unwavering support and love for her family defined her life and will continue to inspire those who knew her. She will be deeply missed. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. Susan had a love of softball and hosted many tournaments and managed three teams at a time. She was an avid lifetime Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers fan.

Cremation has taken place. Private family entombment will take place at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
