Veronica Gonzalez

Veronica Gonzalez, 49, of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, January 11, 2025, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born in Houston, Texas on March 4, 1975, to Alfonso and Maria (Martinez) Contreras, Jr. On October 17, 1998, Veronica married Raul Gonzalez Cortes in Fond du Lac. 

Before her health worsened, Veronica managed a tax preparation office. She enjoyed baking. Veronica was a very religious person and loved going to church to meditate and take some time for herself. 

In addition to her parents, Veronica is survived by her children, Jackie Gonzalez, and Raul Gonzalez, Jr.; grandson, Alfonso Gonzalez; and her brother, Eric Contreras. She was preceded in death by an uncle, Joel Contreras. 

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM, Friday, January 17, 2025, at the funeral home with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Cremation will follow the service.
