Violette D. Briesemeister

Violette D. Briesemeister, 90, died Monday, August 14, 2017 in Appleton. She was born November 27, 1926 in Hibbing, MN, the daughter of Robert and Carrie Chapman Marsh.



Growing up as an only child, she always wanted a large family. Her prayer was answered.



She leaves behind five children, Cathy Tompkins, John (Nyla) LaShay, Patricia Schilling, Tammy Briesemeister, and Jack Briesemeister; twenty seven grandchildren; fifty great grandchildren; eleven great great grandchildren; two beloved cousins, Florence Jylland-Allen and Hank Edwards; in addition to many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Danny LaShay, Arthur LaShay Jr, and Bruce Briesemeister; her daughter, Sherry Galonski; and grandchildren, Jay Jensen and Becky LaShay.



The visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Monday, August 21, 2017 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, August 21, 2017 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Estabrooks Cemetery.
