Virginia L. Welch

Virginia L. Welch, 84, a resident of 597 Kingswood Place died Sunday, March 7, 2004 at St. Agnes Hospital. Virginia was born December 25, 1919 in St. Louis, MO, a daughter of Walter and Edna Buchanan Wilburn. She was married to George A. Welch. Virginia was a homemaker her entire life.Survivors include one daughter; Meredith (Robert) Jean Smith of Dunnellon, FL, four grandchildren; Sheila, Mark, Stephen, and Christopher Smith, and a special friend; Grace Mesman. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.



Visitation for Mrs. Welch will be held on Friday, March 12, 2004 from 11:00 A.M. until Noon at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. At Mrs. Welch's request, there will be no services. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will follow at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum.
