Vonni Lou Dunn

Vonni Lou Dunn, 75, died Friday, June 12, 2026, in Dundee. She was born in Fond du Lac on May 10, 1951, to William and Mary Lou (Wettstein) Vilski. She married Donald “Don” Dunn on November 8, 1975, at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac.

Vonni worked over 30 years as a social worker for Fond du Lac County. She was a 1969 graduate of WLA, earned a bachelor's in social work, and a master's in counseling from UW-Oshkosh. Vonni loved playing Sheepshead, baking, cheering for the Packers and Brewers, and adored giraffes and the color purple.

She is survived by her husband Don, and his son, Daniel (Cil) Dunn; brother, Bill (Maggi) Vilski; nieces, Shannon, and Kelly; nephews, Tim (Beth), and Justin (Veronica); and seven grandnieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Friday, June 19, 2026, at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1600 S. Main St. in Fond du Lac. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM. Cremation will follow the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
