Ward K. Tedford

Ward K. Tedford, 80, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at his residence. He was born December 30, 1944 in Palestine, IL, the son of Hershel and Edith (Crum) Tedford. Ward served in the US Army from 1962 – 1968. On October 17, 1964 he married the love of his life, Sue Ann Hinkley in Fond du Lac.

He worked for Mercury Marine until his retirement in 2004. He enjoyed hunting, bowling, golfing, watching the Minnesota Vikings, lawn care, and loved spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Tedford; four daughters, Tina (Peter) Brickham, Linda (Jerome) Bord, Paula (James) Green, and Donna (David) Hanna; grandchildren, David (Katie) Brickham, Scott Brickham, Jake (Bethany) Bord, Jeremy Bord, Alexander (Rachel) Green, Adam (Rachel) Green, Andrew Green, Tanya (Todd) Lockman, Ashley Hanna, and Katelynn (Adrien) Schafer; great grandchildren, Reed Brickham, Virginia Green, and Aurora Green; sister, Becky (Myron) Helm; brother, Leo (Vicky) Tedford; brother-in-law, Wayne Foster; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Howard (Margaret) Tedford and Larry (Alice) Tedford; sisters, Dorothy Foster, Norma (Fuzz) Beauchamp, and Lois (Dennis) Walter.

The visitation will be held Sunday, January 4, 2026 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The celebration of life will follow at 3:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home. Military honors will follow the service. Cremation has taken place and burial will be held in Estabrooks Cemetery at a later date.
