William J. Michaels

William J. Michaels, age 64, of 96 Berger Parkway, Fond du Lac, died Saturday, May 15, 2004 at All About Life Rehabilitation Center. He was born on March 9, 1940 the son of Guy and Vernice Jesse Michaels. He worked for many years at Mercury Marine. He served in the United States Navy, and was a member of the Lomira American Legion Post 347. He was a published author and enjoyed writing. He loved American history especially Native American history. He was active at The Gratitude Club and it was very important in his life. Also he was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.SURVIVORS: two children, Chris Dee (Jan) Schober of Waukesha, William R. (Jill) Michaels of Mandarin, Florida, two step grandchildren, Erika Haeselich of Jacksonville, Florida, Eric Haeselich of San Diego, CA, two sisters, Barbara (Donald) Simon of Lomira, and Kathryn (William) Schultz of Horicon, two brothers, Lawrence (Joanne) Michaels of Fond du Lac, James Michaels, special friends Ryan O'Neil and Rebecca Ramaker, many nieces and nephews.Former wives Myrma Michaels and Judy Mc Namara. He was preceded in death by his parents.



VISITATION: Tuesday, May 25, 2004 from 4-6 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at 6 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Deacon Larry Hughes officiating. Cremation has taken place. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
